Software Engineer – CXL / PCIe Gen6/Gen7 Experience: 3+ Years Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions using C++, C#, and WPF for CXL and PCIe protocol products. • Implement complex application and system-level software features with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and quality. • Analyze protocol specifications and translate requirements into robust software designs and implementations. • Collaborate closely with FPGA, hardware, and validation teams during platform bring-up and hardware/software integration activities. • Investigate and resolve complex software defects, protocol-level issues, and system integration challenges. • Design and develop multithreaded and concurrent software applications for performance-critical environments. • Support product validation, performance optimization, and customer issue resolution. • Evaluate, integrate, and maintain third-party libraries, frameworks, and software components. • Leverage AI/ML technologies and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, debugging efficiency, testing automation, and customer experience. • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience • Minimum of 3 years of professional software product development experience. Technical Skills • Strong understanding of CXL and/or PCIe protocol architecture. • Strong hands-on programming experience with modern C++. • Experience developing desktop applications using C# and WPF. • Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), software architecture, and design patterns. • Experience with multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, debugging, and performance optimization. • Experience developing software that interfaces with FPGA-based or custom hardware platforms. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Soft Skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced engineering environment. • Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications • Strong experience with PCIe Gen6/Gen7, CXL, and/or NVMe technologies. • Experience with protocol analyzers, exercisers, validation platforms, or similar high-speed protocol tools. • Hands-on experience with FPGA-based systems and hardware/software integration. • Exposure to AI/ML techniques or GenAI tools for software development, debugging, automation, testing, or data analysis. • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization techniques for high-throughput systems
